Enterprise Project Manager

This position is responsible for managing all CMMI Institute projects. This role is part of the Product Development department; the mission is to evolve the CMMI, PCMM and DMM to meet stakeholder needs.  This is accomplished by doing market research to understand the needs of the market, developing plans to collaborate with stakeholders, and develop solutions to meet those needs.


  • Provide project management for all projects and or programs and maintain all risk matrixes and project plans as well as a master schedule;
  • Coordinate and monitor projects or programs from initiation through delivery;
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget;
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of key issues that may impact the project;
  • Manage resource capacity to ensure that projects have the necessary people;
  • Implement, maintain and ensure all projects are following standard project management processes;
  • Create and maintain all executive project reports, dashboards and resource forecasts.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Suite and should be very experienced with MS Project, MS Project Online or MS Project Server.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) required;
  • Minimum of 7 years project management experience required;
  • CMMI experience preferred;
  • Agile experience preferred;
  • Lean experience preferred;
  • MBA preferred;
  • PMP preferred;
  • Certified CMMI Associate preferred.

Work Environment:
